I have taken a break from blogging to work on some wedding planning! My fiancee proposed this summer, and we are so excited to be getting married next summer! I figured I would start back slow with some RTI Station Picture cards. I put these cards in a pocket chart, and then a number on each station activity on a shelf. After that, I put the children's pictures next to their stations for the day! They will rotate to have two 15 minute stations in a 30 minute period. Therefore, their picture will have 2 numbers next to it! Click on the picture below for your own free copy.

Magic E for Smartboard
In our first grade community we used this Magic E Smartboard file that I created as a whole group and then for student practice. During our Reader's Workshop time as well as RTI station time, the children work in groups on the Smartboard on activities like this. Save this for next year, or use as a review now! Morning Meeting for Smarboard!
Well, I have achieved my goal of posting something that I have in Notebook for my Smartboard! I am starting with my morning meeting file. I have borrowed some slides from SmartExchange, made my own, and adapted some slides to make them work for my class. Use whatever you like! Next up, I will be uploading some more fun Notebook files that I have created this year! Just click on the link below:

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!
Hey 100 followers! Oh my goodness thanks so much everyone! I am excited that people are finding what I am sharing useful, and I love seeing what everyone else is contributing in the blog world! You are all wonderful.
This Friday in our first grade community we are celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday!!! We are doing it up right by making green eggs and ham first thing in the morning. At 1:00 parents and teachers are invited to come in to read their favorite Dr. Seuss book to a small group of children. There are so many Dr. Seuss games out there, that we have been working on preparing them all for Friday as well!
**What I have to share with you is a little treat for each child to walk in and find in the morning!** Below is a poem I am going to attach to a small baggie of Swedish Fish (One fish, Two fish, Red fish, Blue fish) to welcome each child to the birthday celebration! Just click on the fish below to download the poem for yourself!
